The Professional Studies Advisory Committee (PSAC) provides guidance to the Office of Professional Studies (OPS). Currently in its formative stages, PSAC will initially have three subcommittees composed of OPS partners on campus in the following areas: online studies, customer service, and graduate professional programs.
The objectives of the subcommittees are:
- to provide guidance about the programs and services provided by OPS to the campus in the specific area that the subcommittee represents
- to identify/recommend additional needed programs and services
- to serve as a clearinghouse of information regarding student trends and opportunities
- to promote OPS programs and services on campus
- to identify new internal and external partnering opportunities
- to coordinate inter-college and inter-department professional development programs and services on campus in areas related to the subcommittee
PSAC will be chaired by Associate Provost and OPS Dean Judith K. Broida. The Online Studies Subcommittee will be chaired by Paul Roche, Director of Online Studies; the Customer Service Subcommittee will be chaired by Meridith Phillips, Director of Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and the Graduate Professional Programs Subcommittee will be chaired by Victoria Peterson, Assistant Dean for Professional Programs.
